Once upon a time (well, not that long ago), I was just like many others, an eager participant in the world of Pilates. But before long I hung up my participant hat and donned my instructor cape. After working at various studios, I upgraded and started my own studio.  You see, something magical happened along the way. I discovered my true calling, helping new moms navigate the maze of fitness during and after pregnancy. It turns out, many of my clients were new moms too, and they were drowning in a sea of misinformation about exercising while pregnant and postpartum.

 

So, what did I do? I decided to take matters into my own hands and spread some fitness wisdom! And there, my journey into the fascinating world of pelvic floor dysfunction began.

 You see, I had a personal rendezvous with the pelvic floor realm, and it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. But I believe that sometimes our own struggles become our greatest strengths. I decided to re-train myself and dive deep into the mysteries of the pelvic floor.

 Then came the ‘sneeze wee’ and ‘cough drops’ realization. I mean, seriously, why should sneezing and coughing be such risky business for new moms? It wasn’t fair, and I had to do something about it. So, I developed a course designed to help new moms gain control of their pelvic floor. But here’s the kicker – it’s not just about pelvic floor exercises; it’s a “whole body” approach. We’re talking new movements and lifestyle changes, my friend! 

 Very soon I was visiting many women in their homes once a week for six weeks.  But that wasn’t enough. I wanted to reach even more amazing women out there, and I couldn’t do it one living room at a time. So, drumroll, please… ta-da! The online course was born! No need to leave your cozy home; you can now join me on this journey to pelvic floor enlightenment from anywhere in the world.
