Restore Your Pelvic Floor Program
I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction: men, women, young and old, pregnant and childless, postnatal individuals, athletes spanning various disciplines—runners, rowers, weightlifters.
Addressing a range of symptoms such as sneeze-induced leakage, urge incontinence, prolapse, pre- and post-prolapse surgery, I often encounter clients who’ve endured the pain, discomfort, and unexpected embarrassment associated with these conditions for a significant duration.
I openly enjoy discussing pelvic floor matters in a candid manner, a natural consequence of my profession. My approach to pelvic floor rehabilitation deviates from the conventional, and that’s precisely what makes it so appealing to me.
If you’ve only been prescribed the traditional “squeeze and release” exercises for your pelvic floor, diligently performed them some weeks, and forgotten them in others—how long has the issue persisted? Six months? Three years? Fifteen years?
If you’ve noticed marginal improvement but not enough, perhaps it’s time to consider a different approach. Will your pelvic floor problem resolve on its own? Well, that depends.
Those TV ads normalizing sneeze-induced leakage as “oops moments” irk me. Laughing and leaking aren’t supposed to go hand in hand.
I’m on a mission to reach out to more women grappling with pelvic floor issues. When I mentioned “15 years of suffering,” I may have underestimated, as some clients approach me with children as old as 25. Traditional pelvic floor exercises don’t seem to have provided significant assistance to some women. While time does heal in some cases, I believe “the time is now” for addressing pelvic floor weakness.
If you’re unable to engage in exercises you once enjoyed, like running or circuit classes, help is essential. Is the thought of jumping on a trampoline at a children’s party daunting due to your pelvic floor? It’s impacting your life, isn’t it?
If you’d like to learn a series of straightforward exercises/movements that can be done at home, with minimal engagement of your pelvic floor—this is my specialty. Little equipment is required, and many clients find immediate relief after our sessions.
Would you be interested in understanding your body better and why discomfort varies throughout your week?
Are you open to the possibility that certain day-to-day movements, like lifting and carrying, might be stressing your pelvic floor incorrectly, causing intermittent leakage? Small lifestyle changes. Education on moving more efficiently. Aha moments.
This is the essence of “Restore Your Pelvic Floor” – a distinct approach with lasting results. Feel free to progress through each session at your own pace—there’s no need to rush. In fact, I recommend allowing a week or so to implement what you’ve learned before moving on to the next video.
It’s crucial to clarify that this program isn’t just another exercise routine. However, as you engage with it, you’ll find yourself naturally lengthening and strengthening your muscles along the way.
Upon registration, you’ll be sent an email containing your username and password for access to the ‘My Account’ area.
